Open invitation for videomapping creators
ZLÍN FILM FESTIVAL 2014 announces an open invitation for 2D and 3D animators and videomapping creators.
As part of this year‘s film festival, a competitive showcase of these visual arts will take place within the premises of the Regional Gallery of the Baťa Institute 14|15, where you‘ll find one of the largest areas of videomapping, which measures 60 x 10 m.
For this year‘s festival we‘ve prepared a competition for 1000 € for the funniest animated story within the windows of the Baťa Institute 14|15.
In the evening the Jägermeister TATRA party truck will arrive with its own DJs. Their musical sets will be complemented with VJ screenings on the largest permanent screening surface in the Czech Republic followed by the Silent Disco at midnight.
The event starts on Tuesday June 3, 2014 starting at 8 p.m..

The technical parameters relating to the competition videos are as follows:
— maximum length of 5 minutes of animation
— video size 4096 x 605 px (mask for screenings is available on the pages of the festival)

The deadline to enter is May 15, 2014.
The best videomapping screening will be chosen by an expert jury on the day of screenings and the author will receive prize money of € 1,000.
