BARBORA POLÁKOVÁ – DEBUT FILMS JURY

Every year, ZFF tries to recruit a young Czech artist to co-judge the international competition of debut European films which are in contention for the Europe Award - culture champion of Europe.

Every year, ZFF tries to recruit a young Czech artist to co-judge the international competition of debut European films which are in contention for the Europe Award - culture champion of Europe. Barbora Poláková, actress and singer, will take on this role this year! Although this DAMU graduate  is a member of numerous Prague's theatre stages and has several titles in her filmography, she became known to the wider audiences by songs Kráva (Cow, 3 million YouTube views) and Sami (Alone, with David Koller).   Furthermore, theatre play Blonďatá bestie (Blonde Beast) has also brought her extensive acknowledgement.  Bára Poláková (*1983) will portray the character Lucie in the planned musical LUCIE, based on the famous band of the same name.
