On his way home from school Hugo accidentally bumps into Peppino and his Star Taxi spaceship. Peppino takes him on a fabulous cosmic ride and recounts an unbelievable story about how he became an intergalactic taxi driver and how he met his first extraterrestrial passenger.

Biography
Juraj Krumpolec (1977) is a Slovak architect and urbanist. For almost two decades he has been involved in animation and co-directing animated video clips, e.g. Glider (Vetroň, 1997), The Man of Your Dreams (Muž tvojich snov, 1999) and Iron Man (Železný muž, 2000). His short animated film Star Taxi (Hviezdny taxík, 2016) is his first film made for children.This film is a part of the set Short Animations 5.
