This Festival Sunday Will Be Dedicated To Charity

We are proud that our festival can help those in need through several charitable organizations. If you’d like to take part, Sunday, June 1 will be devoted to good deeds and people with big hearts.

All Sunday admission fees to film screenings – both in cinemas and the open-air cinema – as well as tickets for paid side events, will be increased by CZK 10. The proceeds from the entire charity day will go to the Drop of Hope Foundation, which, in cooperation with professionals and partners, works to improve the chances of saving the lives of children with serious illnesses. You can also support the foundation during the Concert for the Drop of Hope, which takes place Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on Náměstí Míru (the main square). The concert will feature Hana Holišová performing musical theatre hits, accompanied by Brno’s New Time Orchestra big band.
You can also help by participating in the MONET + Zlín Festival Half-Marathon. The full proceeds from the family run will go to a selected family through the A KORUNA HELPS project. Additionally, CZK 1 for every kilometer run in the main race – which starts at 10:00 a.m. from the Zlín Congress Center – will be donated by the organizers.
Finally, on Sunday you can also visit the With Zlinfest for UNICEF event at the Zlaté Jablko shopping and entertainment center. By doing so, you’ll be supporting important UNICEF programs that help children all over the world. From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., you can join in the popular charity candy sale hosted by celebrities—this year enhanced with a new activity: an origami folding workshop.
