Kristýna Badinková Nováková and Martin Písařík Unveil Their Stars on the Walk of Fame
02. June 2026
Two new stars have been added to the festival's Walk of Fame in front of the Velké Kino cinema, bringing the total to 46. An indelible mark was left in Zlín by actors Kristýna Badinková Nováková and Martin Písařík, both of whom first appeared in front of the camera as children. The accolade is traditionally presented by the Zlín Film Festival in cooperation with the Kapka Naděje (Drop of Hope) Endowment Fund.
The Walk of Fame is one of the festival's most visible symbols. It honours personalities who grew up in front of the camera alongside their audiences, and whose work continues to inspire further generations. We are delighted to welcome Kristýna Badinková Nováková and Martin Písařík among this year's star recipients. Both rightfully belong to the Zlín family of stars,
stated Markéta Pášmová, the festival’s artistic director.
Jindřiška from the cult movie Pelíšky (Cosy Dens) and Martin from the travel show Bedekr have joined dozens of prominent figures of Czech cinema who have received this honour, including Jiřina Bohdalová, Anna Geislerová, Jiří Mádl, Tereza Ramba, Jan Cina, Linda Rybová, and Saša Rašilov.
Kristýna Badinková Nováková made her screen debut at the age of 14 in the film The Education of Girls in Bohemia (Výchova dívek v Čechách). However, she became etched in the public memory primarily through her role as Jindřiška in the iconic movie Pelíšky. She views the Zlín accolade as an extraordinary honour.
It is a true privilege and a joy. I am very fond of both the festival and the city of Zlín; I always absorb the wonderful atmosphere and meet lovely people,
the actress stated.
For me, it is also a reminder that I have stuck with acting since my youth and that it is what sustains me.
Martin Písařík also launched his acting career at the age of 14 and is currently one of the busiest Czech actors, voice actors, and TV presenters. He was particularly looking forward to this year’s festival as he wanted to share the experience with his family.
I perceive this award as a token of appreciation as well as a commitment. It is beautiful when there are milestones like this on our acting journey, reassuring us that our work has meaning and that we should keep going,
Martin Písařík shared.
The ceremonial unveiling of the stars has been a joint project of the Zlín Film Festival and the Kapka Naděje Endowment Fund since 2006.
