Will Becher in Zlín: Tuesday's masterclass revealed the secrets of Aardman animation

The renowned director and animator from the British studio Aardman, which gave the world iconic plasticine characters such as Wallace and Gromit or Shaun the Sheep, came to Zlín to share his know-how with film professionals.
On Tuesday, Will Becher led an expert masterclass, during which he let the participants take a look under the hood of legendary stop-motion animation and behind the scenes of the making of the latest Wallace & Gromit film.
But his visit didn't just stop at Tuesday's lesson. On Sunday, he personally introduced Farmageddon, the new adventure of Shaun the Sheep, this time in the style of a "close encounter of the third kind". The film, which he co-directed and for which he received an Oscar nomination, delighted the children's audience in particular. And as the icing on the cake, Becher symbolically brought Wallace and his trusty sidekick Gromit into the room as they prepared for a new adventure in the upcoming Vengeance Most Fowl, 2024.
