Weekly cinema-tips from the Zlín dog section

This week we have prepared 3 film tips from the Zlín Dog section. These are student films that attract audiences due to their urgency. Each story is told in its own unique style, but all of them contain strong life stories.

Red Shoes

2021, Czech Republic

The village dance begins, skirts spin and feet tap to the rhythm of the dance. But no one's come for Rosa. Suddenly an unknown stranger appears, inviting Rosa to dance and giving her a pair of red shoes. Thanks to the shoes, Rosa dances wildly and passionately and becomes the center of attention. But she soon discovers that she doesn't rule the shoes, the shoes rule her...

Among the co-producers of the film is FILMTALENT ZLÍN, and will currently be presented in Cannes in the Cinéfondation selection section.

Turning Man (Turning Man - 81RPM)

Jürgen Leppert, also known as “Der Dreher” or “der Kreisel” is a graduate engineer, speaker inventor, 360 degree dancer, gifted Frisbee player and thoroughbred 68er.

Everything revolves around the Karlsruher legend, and not just on the dance floor.

A declaration of love to music, dancing and rebellion.

A portrait of a tough person who still swims against the stream and the living proof that 81 years is far from too old for hard raves.
