Program tips for Tuesday 28. 5.

Tuesday at the Zlín Film Festival traditionally includes charity events. Two stars will be unveiled on the Walk of Fame – actor Jan Hrušínský and supporter of the Drop of Hope Endowment Fund and singer Helena Vondráčková. A benefit concert performed by Michal David will take place in Zlín. Another good thing will be the tasty arrival of the winners of the Baking with UNICEF competition, which will take place at Golden Apple Shopping Centre with the participation of famous personalities. Film melody lovers will be pleased by the composition evening Sing Me a Film II, with guest Pavel Šporcl.

THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENTS OF DAY FIVE:

Walk of Fame, parking lot in front of the Grand Cinema, 4 pm

- Unveiling stars of children's films for actor Jan Hrušínský and long-time supporter of the Endowment Fund Drop of Hope Helena Vondráčková.

Michal David - Concert of Hope, ENAPO Concert Zone, 6 pm

- At the big two-hour charity concert, the most famous hits of Michal David will be heard. Proceeds from the concert will go towards the Drop of Hope Endowment Fund.

Sing Me a Film II, Congress Center, 8 pm

- A unique musical evening dedicated to world film and series melodies. Hosted by Filip Teller, a live band under the direction of Zdeněk Král is playing and the world-renowned violin virtuoso Pavel Šporcl will be a special guest.

Baking with UNICEF, OZC Golden Apple, 2 pm to 5 pm

– Volunteers and celebrities bake sweet or savory treats, and passers-by can buy them for any voluntary contribution. The proceeds are donated to support one of the UNICEF programs to help children. Among others to join in the event are actors Klára Issová and Pavel Nový.

Painting on the Pavement - the oldest supporting event of the Zlín festival. Even the grandparents of today's kids painted on the pavement when they were children. The pavement in front of the Grand Cinema, 4:30 pm

Safely on the Net – a conference focused on protecting and securing children in the virtual world, incl. a screening of the new film The Graduate, directed by Branislav Holiček, and follow-up discussions with invited filmmakers and actors. Interhotel Moscow, 9:30 am - 5 pm

Triennial Space Zlin 2019 – Alternative Ways of Destruction – Opening of the exhibition, which focuses on some ways to destroy statues and constructions – both literally and figuratively. 14I15 Bata Institute, Building 14, at 5 pm. The exhibition will last until August 9.

Bohumil Konečný's Women and Other Adventures – the exhibition will present visitors with about 150 original works of the exceptional and rediscovered painter and illustrator Bohumil Konečný, nicknamed "Bimba" – primarily illustrations from adventure novels and drawings of beautiful women. Zlin Chateau, 9 am - 5 pm The exhibition will last until July 7.

Festival Café, Namesti Miru Square, 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm - A unique sitting at the festival café, where a talk-show by Vladimir Kroc will take place. On Tuesday, his guests are director of the Czech section of UNICEF, Pavla Gomba (at 3 pm) and the actor and singer Tomáš Boček (at 7 pm).

Red Carpet, Congress Center - Courtyard, 5 pm - Moderators Dana Morávková and Jan Čenský welcome Czech and foreign festival guests and delegations to selected films: Klára Issová, Dražen Žarkovic, Guillame Maidatchevsky and George Pistereanu.

TBU Educational Complex – U18: Safe under the FHS roof on the topic: Why do we have skin? - Become a scientist for a while and get to know the differences between human skin and those various animals under the microscope, 1 pm - 5 pm

 PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM AT ZFF – ZLIN INDUSTRY DAYS:

 Media to Children, Media with Children IV:  Children as a Consumer of News Content, Congress Center, small hall, 9 am - 12 pm - fourth annual conference organized by the Radio and Television Council on how children perceive news and how it shapes their worldview.

Competition for financial support for visual and audiovisual projects / pitching, Congress Center, small hall, 2 pm - 6 pm - Final presentation of the most successful projects before an expert jury. Every year, the FILMTALENT ZLÍN Endowment Fund announces a competition for students and young fledgling filmmakers; the proceeds from this year's auction at the 22nd annual Clapperboard Salon will be divided among the winners of the competition.
