    Everyone who fulfils entertaining tasks together with funny clowns will receive a nice present.

    The Romaneto Theatre will perform the play Dog and Cat Visit a Film Festival in front of the chateau. Children will be able to try out face painting or admire the tricks of the magician Magister Kelly.

  • Velká cena Film Festivalu Zlín 2010

    The 1,600-meter-long Slušovice race track is one of the newest and best in the Czech Republic. Its unique banked turns enable horses to reach excellent times. The programme will feature several flat races and one steeple chase, races of unregistered horses, two pony races and harness races. 
    Admission will be CZK 50.00 as usual; children’s admission is free of charge. The racing programme costs CZK 50.00.

    The exhibition Karel Zeman, A Film Magician, a significant event in this year’s supporting programme, was prepared by festival organizers to accompany Karel Zeman’s film retrospective and to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth.

    The exhibition Karel Zeman, A Film Magician consists of 38 photographs in the 1,000x700 mm format and three text panels of the same size. The author of the accompanying text about Karel Zeman’s work is the film historian Pavel Taussig. The exhibition maps Zeman’s work at the Zlín Film Studios between 1945 and 1980. By means of black-and-white photographs, it reminds the visitor of Zeman’s best-known feature, combined, and animated films.
