Preview of photographs - “Mýma očima” (In My View)

Jun 4th 2009 | Today at 1 p.m. was held a preview of photographs by the Spanish photographer Oscar Fernandéz Orengo called “In My View”.

Originally Orengo wanted to be a film-maker and maybe because of this fact is this exhibition a set of photographs of Spanish and Latin-American directors. He has been working on the project since 2002 and confessed that it is still not finished. He also revealed that in the Czech Republic he would like to take pictures of Věra Chytilová, Jiří Menzel and Jan Švankmajer.

The exhibition hosted the Cultural Attaché for the Spanish Embassy Alvaro Díaz Duque. Mr Duque expressed his happiness with the cooperation with the Zlín Film Festival, because the Czech audience can learn through the Spanish films about the culture of his country.

The managing director of the Cervantes Institute in Prague Pedro Moya Milanés also said couple of words because the institute also participates in the successful cooperation of the Spanish film-makers with the Zlín Film Festival.
