The exhibition “Moje soukromí! Nekoukat, nešťourat!” (Private! Don’t peek, don’t pry!) opened
May 31st 2009 | Third year of exhibition of art and literature for children from the Czech Republic and foreign countries called “Moje soukromí! Nekoukat, nešťourat!” (Private!Don’t peek, don’t pry!) has been launched at “Velké kino”.
The winners will be announced on Monday the 1st of June at 1 pm in the zoo “Lešná”. The children should have thought in their pictures and texts about the subject of privacy. How important it is for them, what they conceive of this term and whether we should hold our privacy dear. The children draw the pictures in a form of a diary, comic books or they thematically connected them to the internet. Even poems have appeared in the literal section of the contest. The works had been sent by children from the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina and kids from “SOS dětské vesničky” (SOS Children’s Villages Czech Republic) also showed their pieces of work.
The competition is divided into two categories; for children younger 12 and elder children from 13 to 18 and is announced by The Office for Personal Data Protection on the occasion of “Dne ochrany osobních údajů” (Protection of Personal Data Day). The first visitors, who had seen the exhibition at “Velké kino”, were children from “Dětský domov Zábřeh” (Home for abandoned children in Zábřeh).
